Soccer Performance Program
Our Soccer Performance program combines technical soccer development with speed, strength, and athletic performance training.
Led by Luis Rejano, a former Doane University soccer player and current Graduate Assistant Coach for the Doane men’s soccer program, sessions are designed around the actual demands of the game. Athletes work on both their soccer skills and the physical qualities that support those skills on the field.
Training may include:
Dribbling and ball control
First touch and receiving
Passing and technical footwork
Change of direction with and without the ball
Acceleration and short-distance speed
Agility and reaction
Finishing and attacking movement
Position-specific technical work
Single-leg strength and stability
Explosive power
Conditioning specific to soccer
The goal is to develop more complete soccer players by improving technical ability, movement, speed, strength, and confidence with the ball.
